Seeing is Believing

I got to see Lilly yesterday for the first time since we found out she was a girl, some 10 weeks ago. She is doing great and is moving like crazy. They identified all body parts for me, so now I know what exactly is "kicking" and what is here moving her toosh around. She's also head down, so that was good news (as well as the fact that yes, she is a girl seeing as how I've finished the nursery!)
So, even though I know I am biased and the ultrasound isn't exactly like digital photography, I still think she is just the cutest thing. And I think she got Darrell's lips! 9 weeks till we know for sure...

Flying and standing still

I'll be 30 weeks on Saturday. Whoa, it is going quickly in some ways but soooo slooowly in others.

The furniture is set to arrive tomorrow! I think that will help me feel like Lilly is coming soon. Once the furniture is here I can start washing the large cardboard box filled with clothes, her bedding and so on and get everything put away. It will look like a nursery. That should make it feel like there's a baby coming, right? (As if this huge bump under my shirt wasn't reminder enough....) Then too I can get an inventory of what I still need and feel a little more prepared.
